El Parc Astron\u00f2mic Muntanyes de Prades<\/strong> nace el a\u00f1o 2016 de la mano de Astroprades<\/strong> y el Ayuntamiento de Prades<\/strong> con la voluntad de acercar la pasi\u00f3n por la astronom\u00eda<\/strong>, la protecci\u00f3n de los cielos oscuros<\/strong> y la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica<\/strong> a la sociedad. Todo ello en el marco de un entorno natural incomparable para la observaci\u00f3n astron\u00f3mica como son las Monta\u00f1as de Prades y el Montsant. El Parc Astron\u00f2mic Muntanyes de Prades (PAP)<\/strong> es un proyecto promovido por instituciones p\u00fablicas y se suma a la tarea pionera que se ha ido desarrollando desde hace a\u00f1os desde el Parque Astron\u00f3mico del Montsec (PAM).<\/p>\n

La poblaci\u00f3n de Prades<\/strong> tiene dentro de su t\u00e9rmino municipal un lugar \u00fanico para la observaci\u00f3n del universo que es referente a nivel de toda la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica. Este lugar es el Pla de la Gu\u00e0rdia<\/strong>, un altiplano situado a 1.130m sobre el nivel del mar con unas condiciones de estabilidad del cielo y de la imagen<\/strong> (seeing<\/em> astron\u00f3mico), oscuridad, climatolog\u00eda y orograf\u00eda que lo hacen \u00fanico para realizar proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica de primer nivel internacional.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El a\u00f1o 2020 se inaugura el Centro de Visitantes del Parc Astron\u00f2mic Muntanyes de Prades<\/strong>. Este espacio, ubicado en elCentro C\u00edvico de Prades<\/em>, es el punto de encuentro para todos aquellos visitantes que quieren vivir de primera mano los fant\u00e1sticos cielos del Parque Astron\u00f3mico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
